◉ Product Details
PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties. It has a high tensile strength of 90-100 MPa, a bending modulus of approximately 4 GPa, and can maintain structural integrity at continuous operating temperatures up to 250°C, with a melting point as high as 343°C. Its chemical resistance is comparable to that of nickel alloys, and its water absorption rate is less than 0.1%, which is crucial for dimensional stability.
Application Fields
- Medical Field: Due to its biocompatibility, black PEEK parts can be used to manufacture some medical instruments and implants, such as spinal implants.
- Aerospace Field: PEEK parts have the advantages of high strength, light weight, and heat resistance, and can be used to manufacture aircraft pipeline systems, structural brackets, and other components.
- Industrial Field: It is widely used in the manufacture of components such as gears, bushings, and seals in industrial equipment, which can withstand harsh working environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and chemical corrosion.
